Taxi apps are different to ride share.

The product is different in numerous ways and so is the way our drivers pick up rides. Our taxis have 24 hour security that keep both the driver and passenger safe and we are licensed to pick up a passenger on hail.

This means that in peak times our taxis have three methods of getting passengers to where they need to go.

• You can hail them in the street
• You can book them via the call centre
• You can book them via the app

When it is a high demand time ( Friday and Saturday nights for example) our drivers will be busy. As we do not raise our prices we are in many cases the preferred method of transport. So in these peak times getting a taxi on demand can be difficult.

Prebook a taxi

If you are heading out the best way to get a taxi is to pre-book one.

Prebooking a taxi allows the driver to plan their day (or night) and gives you the peace of mind that you will have a ride when you need one.

If you would like to ride in London Taxi then definitely pre-book, they have been very popular and getting on on demand ride can be difficult at time.

Prebooking a taxi of you are heading to the airport allows you to tell the driver how many passengers you have, and how many bags, you can select a London, or a Maxi taxi to get you there.
